These terms govern access to the law firm software, the rights and obligations of users, and the limits of our liability.
These terms of use apply to all functions of the LexVault platform, including document management, deadline management, and client files. By registering, the user acknowledges these terms in their current version.
LexVault provides tools for digital file management, scheduling, and deadline monitoring. The software does not replace legal advice or legal review in individual cases. Responsibility for the accuracy of the content of stored documents remains with the user.
The user undertakes to treat access credentials confidentially and not to grant unauthorized third parties access. Changes to client files must be checked for accuracy. Violations of statutory retention obligations are the responsibility of the respective user.
We assume no liability for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss, unless caused by intent or gross negligence. The availability of the platform is assured without warranty of uninterrupted operation; maintenance windows remain reserved.
The user may terminate the agreement at any time with 14 days' notice to the end of the month. We reserve the right to block access with immediate effect in the event of serious contractual violations, such as unauthorized disclosure of client data.
Amendments to these terms of use will be communicated to the user at least 30 days before they take effect. If the user does not object within this period, the new terms are deemed accepted. An objection entitles the user to extraordinary termination.
